    • Dr. Metzger received a BA with honors in psychology from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She received both a MA and PhD in behavioral psychology from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Following graduate school, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship to UCLA to study the behavioral treatment of children with autism with Ivar Lovaas, a pioneer in the field. Dr. Metzger’s clinical practice has focused on the behavioral treatment of young children with autism and her passion is making a difference for these children and their families.
