Welcome to my home page. I teach courses in composition, literature, and technical and professional writing I also serve as faculty advisor for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in English with the professional writing emphasis.. Like most students at Troy Universtiy, Montgomery, Campus, I.have had experience balancing obligations to job, school, and family. After concluding a career with the Air Force, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in English from Auburn University in 1998. .While serving in the Air Force, I earned my Master's degree in English from the University of Maine and subsequently spent several years teaching part time at Minot State University and Troy Universty before coming to Troy University, Montgomery Campus, first as a writing specialist and then as a faculty member.
