Jonathan Broyles currently serves as a counselor for Troy University's Office of Student Development in the John W. Schmidt Center for Student Success on the Troy Campus. He is responsible for service as an advisor to students admitted on a conditional basis to the University. He plays an important role in student retention insomuch that he serves as a point of contact for at-risk students. Jonathan designs and publishes a newsletter connecting families of conditional students to the University. Jonathan also assists in the development and delivery of various Student Success Workshops offered on campus. Jonathan also serves as an adjunct instructor in the First-Year Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies Programs and in the Institute for Leadership Development.
Jonathan is married to Wendy Broyles. The two met as undergraduate students on the Troy Campus. They have one daughter, Emma Grace, and they live in Headland, AL. Wendy is currently working toward earning her Ed.D from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She is an adjunct instructor for both the English and Leadership Studies Departments at Troy University. She also works full-time for Troy University as Director of Assessment. Emma Grace attends school in Headland where she is involved in cheerleading.
