  • 1983: Ph.D., Cybernetics Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Kiev, UKRAINE

    My Ph.D. thesis (scientific advisor - A. Zykov) was in Discrete Applied Mathematics; the title: "Triangulated graphs and their generalizations" (theory, algorithms and applications, software in FORTRAN IY, accepted by the State Algorithms and Programms Fund of the USSR, see references in the list of publications: 7 programms).

    Award: best young scientist of Kishinev State University for year 1983.

  • 1976: M.S., Kishinev State University, Diploma with distinction

    My M.S. thesis was in Applied Mathematics; the title: "Investigation of one problem in chemical kinetics". It was aimed at computing of speed constants of a chemical reaction (mathematical model based on a system of differential equations, gradient method of optimization, software encoded in FORTRAN IY, extensive computer searching).

Academic Status:

Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Cybernetics, Moldova State University, DIPLOMA conferred by the State Committee on National Education of the USSR, Moscow, 1991.
