Give some thought to the way your browser displays pages on the Internet. You may find that certain circumstances will cause you to want to change the appearance of the Internet. The most common need to make a change is the default text size. Both Netscape and Internet Explorer allow you to make changes in the size of the text characters that appear on your monitor. You might want to project your Internet capable computer to your class, but the size of the fonts are not viewable through your projection device (TV, data projector, etc.) It is fairly easy to make a change.
Important Note 1: Record the original or default settings before you make a change so you can restore the settings after the need is over and you wish to return to viewing normally.
Important Note 2: Some 'text' is really an image and adjusting the font size will not change the appearance of the image.
Important Note 3: Some web pages are formatted in such a way that the author uses every horizontal screen pixel in a manner that is strategic to the way a page will look. Usually web page authors build according to the default settings that are installed with the different browsers. All this is to say, some pages may look distorted by adjusting the font size.

At the bottom of the dialog box that pops up is where you select Fonts. Click on Fonts and adjust the settings to meet your needs. Again, it is a good idea to record the original settings so you can return Internet Explorer to its former condition when your needs for changing are over. Internet Explorer
