Repeat the Last Command from the Keyboard

Executing some Excel commands are fairly quickly accomplished with the mouse. You may be one of those fast typists that can move your fingers quicker than you can point the mouse. If so, this trick may be useful to remember.....CTRL + Y.

Excel remembers the commands it is asked to execute while you are developing/using a spreadsheet. There is a keyboard shortcut called REPEAT that may be useful. In order to see it in action, you will have to imagine the keystrokes being depressed.

Consider this simple example - Centering the Contents of a Cell

It's not to difficult to select a cell and click on the center button. If you wanted to center another cell, you would have to select it and make a choice - repeat the mouse click on the center button or remember the CTRL + Y keyboard trick.

By either method, you should arrive at the same destination. The only question to be answered might be to decide which is easier (faster) for you.
