The English Department Forum on Language and Literature is a series of discussions, workshops, and presentations designed to showcase faculty strengths and interests in the English Department of the Troy campus of Troy University. The forums provide opportunities for faculty development, both for the presenters and the attendees (students are encouraged to attend, too!). Katona D. Hargrave (khargrave@troy.edu) and Ben P. Robertson (bprobertson@troy.edu) inaugurated the series in early 2008 and are working to foster continued interest in the forums. Three forums are planned for each semester--one about teaching techniques and strategies that faculty might find useful, one focusing on a faculty member's creative writing or performance, and one about a faculty member's scholarly interests.

The following forums have already taken place or are scheduled to take place soon. Click the images to see larger versions of the photos.
