The Alabama Science In Motion program provides high school science classes with science laboratory experiments that use modern instruments and equipment.  The chemistry Science In Motion program located at Troy University includes a van of chemistry instruments and a driver; Dena Byars provides instruction on how to use the equipment.

 

The Troy vans serve schools in the southeast region of Alabama, which includes the following counties:  Butler, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Escambia, Geneva, Henry, Houston and Pike.

 

Program Material

An Excel 97/2000 spreadsheet for the barium-137m half-life lab.  Plots the data and calculates the half-life.
