CorpusLAB: Steps to Professional Reading and Writing

This is a simple eBook which presents reading strategies and

high-frequency patterns for writing and language use.  It is

based on a corpus of American undergraduate university writing.

CorpusLAB: English Tenses

When finished, this book will present tenses for English

language learners.  It will include their forms (or structures) as

well as their communication functions, presented according to

real language use.  It is based on a corpus of American

professional speech.

North American Freshman Composition Writing Study

This is a major study led by Gena Bennett at the University of

Birmingham, UK.  Results of the study will provide a lexico-

grammatical profile of target-like composition essays.
