Little Miss Trojan (ages 4-6)
Contestants will be judged based on the following
criteria during on-stage competition with each area counting 25% of the total
score: Poise, age appropriate dress (pageant, Sunday, or heirloom),
on-stage personality, and overall appearance.

Miss Teen Trojan
Contestants will be judged in private interview (7 minutes) and on-stage competition with the following areas composing the total score for each contestant: Interview-35%, Physical Fitness-10%, Talent-35% (2 minutes or less), Evening Gown-15%, and On-Stage Question-5%
Entry fee for Miss Teen Trojan division $100
Winner receives a
tiara, banner, bouquet, and paid entry into the Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen
Pageant (worth $350), along with a wardrobe scholarship
&
$500 scholarship to
Miss Teen Trojan is an official preliminary to the Miss
Alabama’s Outstanding Teen Pageant which will be held in March 2009 in
Sylacauga, AL. Miss
Teen contestants
are required to submit a resume for the judges’ interview (sample resume may be
found at http://outstandingteen.homestead.com/FormstoCompete.html.
Optional Competitions:
Photogenic - pictures must be picked up
immediately following the pageant.

People’s Choice Award - Supporters are
encouraged to vote for their favorite
contestants. Unlimited votes may be cast at $1 each in the lobby area
before the pageant. People’s Choice Winners in the Little Miss and
Teen competitions will be recognized during crowning and receive a medallion.

All contestants will be required to attend practice the day of the pageants. Teen contestants will report to Claudia Crosby Theater dressed for interviews at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25th. Little Miss contestants will report to Claudia Crosby Theater at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 25th. Rising Star contestants will report to Claudia Crosby Theater at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 26th.
Entry form and emcee sheet must be mailed with the entry fees by no later than October 5, 2008.

*All contestants must submit a photograph (head shot/any size) for the program book (electronic submission to bcamp@troy.edu preferred). These photos will not be judged. Any hard copy photos received will be returned the day of the pageant.

Contestant confirmation messages with interview times and official schedules will be forwarded as soon as possible after the October 5, 2008 deadline. Contestants who do not receive confirmations by October 12, 2008 should contact the directors to be sure that their entry has been received. Absolutely no entries can be accepted on the day of the pageant. The entry deadline is established to ensure that all contestants can be contacted in a timely manner.
