We do!  Deborah Ford, author of The Grits(Girls Raised In The South) Guide to Life, will be the speaker at our Friday night session.  Deborah is a lifelong Southerner and the founder of Grits, Inc.

 

Meet Steven Krasner

 

Steven is a national education consultant, a prize-winning children’s author, a presenter for the International Reading Association, a member of the Arts in Education Roster of the Rhode Island Council on the Arts, and a sports writer for the Providence (RI) Journal.  His books include Have a Nice Nap, Humphrey, The Longest Game, Why Not Call It Cow Juice?, and Play Ball Like the Pros (Parents’ Choice Silver Award, Fall 2002).  His workshop “Nudgin’ the Imagination:  A Writing Program for All Ages” is a fast-paced, fun-filled, interactive session for teachers that offers practical, easy-to-employ suggestions for nudging students’ imaginations into written works.
