Troy University offers an excellent online RN to BSN/MSN track for RN students that is available on 3 campus sites. This track is designed for the student who is already a registered nurse and a graduate of an accredited associate degree nursing or diploma program.

Campus sites: Montgomery, Phenix City, and Troy, Alabama

The RN to BSN/MSN track features:

  1. Online coursework and personalized clinical schedules allowing maximum flexibility in managing work, family, and educational responsibilities
  2. Two semesters or four semesters BSN Clinical Nursing Sequence
  3. Students can complete the clinical nursing sequence for the BSN degree in 2 semesters and complete the MSN Clinical Specialist or Nursing Informatics Specialist in 4 additional semester or complete the Family Nurse Practitioner in 5 additional semesters
  4. Highly qualified and caring faculty who are experienced with online teaching
  5. Advanced coursework in:
  1. Opportunity to take a graduate nursing course while finishing requirements for BSN degree.
  2. Excellent Graduation rates of 95%
  3. Progression into Graduate Nursing Programs: 50 % or more go on to Graduate Nursing Programs.
  4. Advancement of critical thinking and writing skills
  5. Minimal periodic live meetings required on campus.

Graduates of the RN to MSN track will be prepared as advanced practice nurses with clinical expertise and the knowledge and skills to assume a leadership role in the healthcare system.
